OTIE completes acquisition of Ordnance & Explosives Remediation, Inc.

Wisconsin based OTIE, a highly-experienced 8(a) Small Business completes acquisition of OER, a Service Disabled, Small-Business Munitions Response firm from Massachusetts.

Oneida Total Integrated Enterprises, LLC (OTIE) an SBA-certified 8(a) company wholly owned by the Oneida Tribe of Indians of Wisconsin, acquired Ordnance & Explosives Remediation, Inc. (OER), a Cohasset, MA-headquartered small business specializing in Military Munitions Response Program Investigations and Removals for the Federal Government, as well as providing construction support for other federal contractors. OER managed their work from two offices located in Boston and Kansas City.

This acquisition grows naturally from the Oneida long-range philosophy of seventh generation planning β€” that today’s decisions and actions should benefit the seventh generation in the future β€” emphasizing commitment to economic development to improve the quality of life and the environment. Furthermore, this builds on the Military Munitions capability that OTIE has developed over the last 2 years.

According to OTIE President, Mr. Nick Ni, P.E., the merger will provide customers enhanced access to a full range of Munitions Response services. “We have an excellent reputation for quality of service delivery and, as OTIE, we offer expanded Small Business contracting options and industry-leading experience as an 8(a) enterprise serving environmental and engineering needs of our customers.”

Mr. Hugh Sease, President of OER, feels β€œthe union of OTIE and OER will allow us to provide a full range of quality Munitions Response services at highly competitive prices to both government clients and federal contractors.”

The OER Group within OTIE is an extremely compelling service provider for our customers and business partners because it creates a powerful leader in small business contracting that is actively delivering innovative solutions, long-term efficiency, and value with expanded locations and experienced staff.
