Sheboygan River AOC Restoration, Sheboygan, WI
Environmental ServicesOTIE completed the pre-design topographic survey as well as field investigations to delineate wetlands and waterways and perform a survey for threatened and endangered species within three project areas. We documented and summarized the data collected during the investigations in a wetland delineation report. We reported the rare species findings to the WDNR. OTIE also assisted with preparation and documentation required for Section 404 and Section 10 permits required by the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources and U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. OTIE prepared construction plans for the restoration of each site, including the Wetland Restoration Grading Plan, stream bank plantings, and re-vegetation plans for all three project areas.
OTIE provided oversight during construction of restoration areas. Duties included staking restoration areas, interpretation of plans and specifications, inspection, and documentation of planting stock (i.e., seed, trees, shrubs and rootstock).
