Mugu, CAIn the course of reducing a 23-acre landfill footprint by consolidating solid waste materials and constructing a new 13-acre landfill cap, OTIE protected endangered species and restored 3.5 acres of sensitive tidal wetlands that provided the Naval Base Ventura County “wetland banking program” with credit offsets.
